About this IP and stealing info from virtual Family Kingdom!!?

Ok, theres a new game called Virtual Family kingdom. Some say its a scam other dont. IDK! My question is this. How much information can someone get from a secured wireless IP??? I mean Im running through a secured router..on a laptop. I have firewalls up the wazzoo and Norton, security suite, and all kinds of blockers up. As far as an addy..Im not worried..you can get address from PHONEBOOKS!! So don%26#039;t care about that, but what about credit info and more personal info..how can they obtain that from an IP addy.

IDK how much worring I should do. Im pretty secured in the fields of my ss # and credit cards. Nothing can be opened in my name or my social without the companies contacting me first through a special number. I recommend LifeLock!!

Should I worry or not? The game sounds kinda fun, would be a shame if it were a scam. Im actually excited theres gonna be another game even if its not through disney.

The proper address for what everyone is talking about is http://www.virtualfamilykingdom.com/

the only thing they are asking for is people%26#039;s first name, email address, and vmk login name should they chose to keep it. You shouldn%26#039;t be downloading anything at this point because the game has not yet begun, even then I doubt it would be anything different from the initial software download we faced when VMK first came out.

Although... really... do you know how many sites actually record your ip address? It%26#039;s just a number anymore. If you%26#039;re on a wireless it could change all the time, I know mine does.

I was unable to find a game called virtual family kingdom or family kingdom. When you download something, it doesn%26#039;t matter how secure your wireless connection is--that only prevents people from accessing your internet connection. I would do some research on the game, if there are rumours that the game is viral, don%26#039;t download it. I would also suggest PeerGaurdian for added protection. It blocks known IP addresses associated with nefarious activity (including government agencies and private organizations who are spying on you).

I keep 1 computer free of internet connection to play games on and 1 computer connected. If you want to be truly safe, install the game onto an internet free computer, then disconnect it. Personally, I never purchase anything nor enter any personal information in my internet computer.

Virtual Family Kingdom is not a scam. I myself have registered on the site and it did nothing to my computer. I trust the site and I say it was made by real people who have real feelings unlike yavn and his stupid staff.
