talk to the utility people..explain your situation...get on a monthly payment plan...your probably gonna have to give up some luxuries while on disability....and talk to the disability people..they do this kind of stuff every day...they have to help you, its their job...

Depends which state you live in.There are programs in your community that help the disabled while waiting for benefits.Contact your Social Security administration.They might be able to give you some information.
