Does anyone else hate it when..?

you%26#039;re like the third person to answer a question, but you give the best and most thorough answer, and then the first person to answer goes back and edits their answer, changing it to what you said?

I mean, I don%26#039;t really care about the points, but I do like getting credit for things I do, even if it isn%26#039;t that big a deal.

Still, just the fact that people do that really, really irks me... just venting.

It%26#039;s happened to me a few times. When that happens, I usually thumbs-down the copycat and edit my answer to call shenanigans on them. It usually doesn%26#039;t make any difference, though.

That would be so annoying! But it makes me more mad when that happens at work, in a situation where it actually matters.

Ack! Yes, this bugs me to no end. Or when you are the third person to answer, and you see the first person is completely wrong, so you go edit yours to include a correction of why the first answer is wrong, but when you go back a fourth person has answered with basically your same answer that you put in your edit! Now it looks like you are the copy cat! This just happened to me, and now that is bugging me. UGH! Sorry, just venting too...

People can edit their answers if they want.
